Kathleen F. O'Connor

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and daughter Kathleen "Katie" O'Connor who left us on October 18, 2025 after a 40 year courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born on December 2, 1964, Katie brought joy and warmth to everyone around her. Her strength and courage were truly inspiring, as she faced her illness with grace. Throughout her journey, she remained optimistic and found joy in the simple things in life and deeply loved her family and friends.

Katie had a gift for making those around her feel special, and her smile could light up a room.

She is survived by her loving mother Margaret (nee McElwain) O'Connor and siblings, Eileen Collamore (Steve), Joan Bundschuh (Russell), Bernadette Solomon (Sean) and her nieces and nephews who made her proud with all of their accomplishments David Lisante, Connor Lisante, Patrick Lisante, Brittany Bundschuh, Stephen Collamore, Courtney Bundschuh, Caitlin Collamore, Daniel Collamore and Bradley Bundschuh. Katie was predeceased by her sister Margaret (Timothy Lisante) and father David O'Connor. Katie will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts.

A wake in her honor will be held on October 21, 2025, at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10703 from 1:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00. A funeral Mass will be held on October 22, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Yonkers Church, 110 Shonnard Place. Yonkers, NY 10703 at 10:00. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in celebrating Katie and the lasting impact she had on our lives.
