Kazimiera Kwedlo

Kazimiera Kwedlo, 99 of Norwalk, CT, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026. She was born in Poznian, Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1962. While raising her family, she worked as a seamstress and in her spare time, crocheted beautiful afghans. Kazimiera was a devoted Catholic and loved to view the city skyline from her Yonkers home and share her delicious apple cake. She was loved and blessed for 99 years.

Kazimiera is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lidia Majewski; spouse, Mieczyslaw Kwedlo; brother, Cheslaw Majewski; sister, Irena Wisniewski; son-in-law, Vincent Ng and granddaughter, Vanessa Ng.

Surviving are her loving children; Sons, Edward Kwedlo and spouse, Julia; Joseph Kwedlo and spouse, Jane. Daughters, Stella Ng; Kathy Brenia and spouse, John. Also, eight grandchildren; Diane, Michael, David, James, Ryan, Jasen, and Dallas. Eight great grandchildren: Justin, Ryan, Alex, Caroline, Eliza, Nathan, Abigail and Connor.

Private funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home in Yonkers, NY, followed by burial in Oakland Cemetery in Yonkers, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St.Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org, in memory of Kazimiera Kwedlo.
