Lawrence T. “Larry” Burns of Yonkers died on Friday June 3, 2011 at age 50. Born on April 4, 1961 to Lawrence and Joye (Orgill) Burns in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Gorton High School. His mother Joye Burns survives and lives in Yonkers. Larry worked as a doorman for Skyview Terrace in Riverdale for over six years. He is survived by his life partner Iris Cupeles and his children, Jessica Raisch, Elizabeth Burns, Sara Groteland, Marika, Francisco, Justin and Drayvon. He is also survived by two brothers, Joseph and Robert and his two sisters, Hilda and Kathy and a granddaughter Isabella. Visiting Hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday June 13th from 2 to 9 PM. Religious service will start at 7 PM.
