Lawrence Guy

He was born on December 17, 1923 to Romania and Aaron Guy in Port of Spain, Trindad. He attended Closter Lodge School in Belmont before migrating to the United States.

He worked as a Merchant Seaman until he became ill. He was a loving father to his three children as well as a loving uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather and a wonderful friend.

On September 10, 2022 at 8:45am Lawrence ended his earthly journey and went home peacefully in the kind and loving arms of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

He leaves to mourn his daughter Patricia Guy and son Larry Guy, grandchildren Larry, Lawrence, Victor, Aaron, Anton, Lexus, Lana, Christian, Kendra, Winston, Earl, Alasha, Shenequa, Sade, Amena, Brittany and his wonderful caregiver - Joseph Wiggins. He also leaves to mourn him, twenty seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.

Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday 4-8pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Friday September 16th at 11:15am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
