Lillian Petnuch

Lillian Petnuch (nee Rowe) of Yonkers died on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at age 86. She also was a resident of Stuart, Florida for over twenty years. She was born on August 21, 1924 to Marvin and Lillian (Hoffman) Rowe in Lyndenhurst, Long Island. She attended local schools and graduated from Westchester Business Institute. On January 30, 1960, she married John Pentuch, Jr., he died in 2006. Lillian is survived by her daughters; Bonnie Redding (Ted) Cruz of Sherman, Ct., and Eileen Murphy (Vincent) Bellino of LaGrangeville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Cari, Christian, (Kira) Brian (Kathy), Chrissy and Johnny and three great-grandchildren, Felicity, Aiyla and Giulana and her pet poodle – Princess. She was predeceased by her son John Petnuch III who died in 1992. She was a wonderful mother and grandma to all her family and a dear friend to those both in Yonkers and Stuart. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 19th at 10:00 a.m. Committal Service at Ferncliff Chapel.
