Linda Sue Sabol

Linda Sue Sabol of Pleasant Valley, N.Y. formerly of Yonkers died on Thursday August 2, 2012 at Vassar Bro. Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She was born on November 5, 1955 to Barbara (Donegan) Sabol in Yonkers where she was raised and educated, graduating from Gorton High School in 1973. Linda worked for Stop & Shop in Eastchester for many years and most recently in the Tarrytown store as a meat wrapper. Linda loved her pets and always had a cat and a dog. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching T.V. Linda was the loving daughter of Barbara (Donegan) Sabol and dear sister of Edward Sabol and his wife, Marcia (Magner) of LaGrange, N.Y. She is also survived by her cat Sammy. She was preceded in death by her father John Sabol, sister Barbara Ann, brother John Michael, grandparents former Hastings on Hudson Chief of Police John J. Donegan and grandmother Helen (Craig) Donegan and Edward Sabol and his wife Anna. At the family’s request there will be no viewing. Graveside service will be held on Monday August 6th at 1 pm at the family plot in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson.
