Lois A. Focht (nee Troy), a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Tuesday January 16, 2018. She was 76 years old. She was born on April 3, 1941 to Thomas and Lois Brilliant Troy in Bristol, Ct. Mrs. Focht was a nurse’s aide in Yonkers General Hospital for twenty five years. Previously, she worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Joseph Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John R. Focht. Mrs. Focht is survived by her three children, Thomas (Elaine) McMullen of Hastings on Hudson, Patricia (Sal) Triarsi of Yonkers and John M. Focht of Yonkers and a brother, Arthur (Georgette) Troy of Oscoda, Michigan. She is also survived by her blended family of Richard (Debbie) Focht, Barbara Troy, Gail Focht, Raymond (Carmen) Focht, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a son, Brian P. McMullen. All services are private. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
