Lorraine Drexler (nee Bruno) of New City formerly of Yonkers died suddenly on Thursday April 17, 2014 at age 85. Born on February 8, 1929 to Pasquale and Assunta Bruno in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Mrs. Drexler worked as a bookkeeper for Anka Tool and Dye Company in Congers. On February 23, 1963, she married Robert Drexler. He died in 2008. Lorraine is survived by her son William (Margie) Drexler of Mahopac, her brother Frank Bruno and sisters Antoinette Bruno and Catherine Horan, a nephew Frank and nieces Cathy, Susan and Karen. She was predeceased by her aunt Leonilde Caggianese. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 4 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church (Nanuet) on Tuesday April 22nd at 11:30am. Interment St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
