Manuel Dos Santos, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Friday July 27, 2012 at St. John’s Riverside Hospital. He was 76 years old. He was born on January 18, 1936 to Joaquim and Maria Mota Dos Santos in Portugal. Mr. Dos Santos was a gardener at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers for many years until his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria (Miranda) Dos Santos, one daughter Maria Reis, four sons, Jorge, Carlos, Rui and Nelson Dos Santos and one brother, Mateus Dos Santos. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 355 South Broadway, Yonkers on Monday July 30th at 10 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
