Marcia Brown

Passed away on November 4, 2012

Marcia Brown of Yonkers died on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at age 75. She was born on September 3, 1937 to Marshall and Gertrude (Mason) Brown in New York City. She worked as a school teacher for the City of Yonkers for many years. She received her education from Hunter College and has a B.S. and Masters in Education. Marcia was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a former girl scout leader. Ms. Brown is survived by her brother Marshall of Palm Coast Florida and her sister Joyce of New York City, a niece Dana and her nephew Marshall and several cousins. Visiting hours will be a the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church on Thursday, November 8th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery.
