Margaret Jessamy (nee Belton) of Yonkers died on Thursday July 8, 2010 at age 86. Born on October 22, 1923 to William and Lillian (Alexander) Belton in Raleigh, N.C. and has been a Yonkers resident for over 70 years. Mrs. Jessamy worked as a cashier for C.H. Martin Department Store in Getty Square for many years. She was predeceased by her husband John Jessamy who died in 1990. Margaret is survived by her three children Beverly, Alvin and Michael, her brother Howard Belton and eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday July 15 from 4 to 8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 16 at the funeral home at 11am, Friday viewing at 10am. Interment to follow service at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
