Margaret Pavone (nee Galotti) of Yonkers died on Sunday August 12, 2012 at age 94. She was born on April 14, 1918 to Frank and Serafina (Virgili) Galotti in the Bronx. She was educated in local Yonkers schools. On September 15, 1940 she married Joseph Pavone (Ret. WWII Army Veteran) in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church; he died in 1975. She was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Church. Margaret is survived by her 5 brothers and sisters; Vincent and Frank Galotti; Theresa Gallego, Gloria Rubeo and Faye Branca. She was predeceased by Carmine and Nicholas Galotti, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Peter’s Church on Thursday August 16th at 10am. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
