

Marguerite (Honey) Manning (nee Farrell) of Yonkers died on Saturday July 5, 2014 at age 78. She was born on December 19, 1935 to Raymond and Julia (Doyle) Farrell in Yonkers where she attended Sacred Heart Grade School and Commerce HS. Mrs. Manning was the Head Waitress for Zaren Catering and was the Emergency Room Registrar for Yonkers General Hospital. On September 27, 1952 she married her childhood sweetheart James Manning; he survives living in Yonkers. She is also survived by her 6 children Barbara Ann (John) Salkowicz; Dawn (Keith) Levandoski; Carol Lynn Manning; Jean Marie (Dennis) Robertson; Thomas (Leslie) Manning and Sean (Corinne) Manning, 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son James Jr. who died in 1992. She is survived by 2 sisters Judith Farrell and Eileen McSpedon, and predeceased her by siblings William, John, Arthur, Robert and Raymond Farrell, Helen Greco, Dorothy Farrell, Marion DeMuro, Joan Liber and Mary (Mazie) Farrell. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-9pm, Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday July 9th at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
