

She was born on August 6, 1917 to Antonio Ferrao Morgado and Teresa Rainho Dias in Portugal where she was raised and educated. Mrs. DeOliveira was a dietary worker at St. John’s Riverside Hospital for fifteen years prior to her retirement in August 1982. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Yonkers and enjoyed knitting and cooking for her family. In September 1938, she married her loving husband Manuel Domingues Gapo DeOliveira in Fermentelos, Portugal. Mr. DeOliveira died August 14, 1968. She is survived by two sons, Tony and Norberto DeOliveira and three daughters, Maria Eugenia Duarte, Isabel Albuquerque and Florinda Cardoso. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Manuel DeOliveira and three brothers and five sisters. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 3-6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Yonkers on Monday October 1st at 10am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
