Maria Olivas, 50 of Yonkers on October 10, 2011 after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. Beloved mother of Victoria Lynn. Cherished daughter of Adele and the late Joseph Olivas. Loving sister of Andrea Murphy. Maria was born on September 21, 1961 in N.Y.C.N.Y. Maria was a cheerleader at Yonkers High School where she graduated in 1979. She later went on to work as an office manager for Dr. Tony Villamena of Bronxville, her last position was at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in Harrison NY. Donations can be made in Maria’s name to your local American Cancer Society. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home Thursday 7-9pm & Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
