Marie Rose Lee

May 7, 1933 – January 10, 2014

Marie Rose Lee, age 80, peacefully passed away on January 10, 2014 in Yonkers, New York. She was born in White Plains, NY to the late Anthony and Anna Pace. Marie is survived by her husband Donald of 62 years, five children, Donna, Donald, Jeffrey, Douglas and Sheen. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Marie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished friend. She was an avid gardener, loved to cook for her family, travel, enjoyed needlepoint and was in the process of writing a children’s book entitled “The Tree House Twins”. Her family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, January 16,, 2014 at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Family and friends will meet again at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. for the drive to Ferncliff Chapel located at 280 Secor Road Hartsdale, N.Y. 10530 for the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marie's memory to Catholic Charities.
