Marilyn F. Lynch

Marilyn F. Lynch (nee Gerace), a lifelong Yonkers resident, died suddenly on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at her residence. She was 60 years old. She was born on June 11, 1955 to Frank & Carmela Sacco Gerace in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from St. Bartholomew’s Grade School and Roosevelt High School. Mrs. Lynch was a school crossing guard for the City of Yonkers at St. John the Baptist Church for about fifteen years until she recently became ill. On May 4, 1987, she married her loving husband, Edward Lynch in Yonkers. Mr. Lynch survives and lives in Yonkers. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two nephews, Richard Gerace, Jr. and Frank Gerace and four grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Gerace in June 2015. Visiting hours will be on Friday 10/9 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday October 10th at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.Donations in her memory may be made to the ASPCA.
