Maria (Mary) Hlushko nee (Graban) of Yonkers died on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at age 82. Born on August 18, 1934 to John and Anna (Gbur) Graban in Poland where she was raised and came to Yonkers at age 12. On May 19, 1957 she married Roman Hlushko in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, he died in 2004. Mrs. Hlushko is survived by her three children; Michael Roman Hlushko; Peter (Halya) Hlushko and Christina (Andrew) Danyluk. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; Lesia, Roman, Yuri, Marko and Matey. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Evening service will be at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church on Monday, October 31st at 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Spirit Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Campbell Hall, N.Y.
