Mary D Murphy

Mary “Dottie” Murphy of Yonkers died on Tuesday February 19, 2013 at the age of 70. Born on February 3, 1943 to Thomas and Dorothy (Newman) Murphy in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx. In 1962, she married Joseph Cloidt. He died in 2008. Mary was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church. She is survived by four children, John (Lenora) Cloidt of Peekskill, Joseph (Leith) Cloidt of Armonk, Thomas (Jennifer) Cloidt of Yonkers and Dodie (Bob) Vellucci of Yonkers and her four grandchildren, Nikki, Melanie, Hannah and Sophia and her sister Bernadette Machutta. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Jensen. Visiting Hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Church on Saturday February 23rd at 9:30 am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
