Mary Pearce

She was born on May 25, 1940 to Francis and Hilda Dunn Pearce in Yonkers where she was raised and educated graduating from Blessed Sacrament Academy. Mary was a home health aide for Family Services in Yonkers for many years until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and enjoyed bingo and creative decorating in her home. Her daughter said “She was a very loving and family oriented mother in her vibrant years”. She is survived by her only daughter, Laura Clare of Yonkers, a son and daughter in law, Karen and Daniel Clare of Raleigh, NC, and three brothers, Walter and Jimmy Pearce both of Dutchess County and Patrick Pearce of Florida. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her ex-husband and father of her children, Norman J. Clare, a son, Roy J. Clare, two sisters, Margaret O’Rourke and Patricia Butsco and a brother, Frankie Pearce. Funeral and final disposition will be private.
