Maryellen Keppler, 51, died peacefully on May 26th at the Baptist Home in Rhinebeck, N.Y. She was born on November 22, 1963 in Yonkers, New York to George and Arlene Keppler. Maryellen is survived by her parents and her five siblings; Robert (Lisa) Keppler of New Rochelle, Susan (Doug) Gellerman of Calabasas, Ca; Linda (Jerry) Moen of Yonkers, N.Y., Carole (Jim) Cahill of Mountainside, N.J. and Barbara (John) McNelis of Rochester, MI., Cousins David and Maureen McCarthy and many nephews and nieces. Maryellen, who was born with Down Syndrome, brought sunshine and love to all she met. She thoroughly enjoyed dancing and listening to music, especially Michael Jackson. The family would like to thank Carmen Carrero, Melanie Policastro Dougherty and the entire staff at Baptist Home at Brookmeade for their excellent care. A private service will be held by the family.
