She was born and raised in Yonkers, NY. Beloved Daughter of Joan McCarthy, younger sister of Dawn Silvani. She is predeceased by her mother and her son, Nicholas. She is survived by her sister; her children - Marcus, Robert, and Jillian; her grandchildren - Marcus Jr, Frank, Sonny, Sofia, and Dominick; as well as her nieces and nephew - Daniele, Heather, and Joshua. Maureen wanted nothing more in life than to be surrounded by the family she loved the most. She will always be remembered for her beautiful singing voice, her silly dance moves and sometimes wild personality. She will be missed. A memorial visitation will be held Friday August 30th at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home from 2pm - 4pm.
