Mildred Zanowicz of Yonkers died on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at age 80. Born on April 15, 1931 to Edward and Mary (Laba) Zanowicz in Yonkers where she was raised and attended local schools. Mildred was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She is survived by her sister Lillian Zanowicz of Yonkers. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Friday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday, March 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Most Holy Trinity Church.
