

Pasquale (Pat) Perrotta passed away peacefully on November 27, 2011 at Calvary Hospital at the age of 78. He was born on in Manhattan on December 31, 1932 to Federico and Cristina Perrotta (both are deceased). Pat attended New York University, he graduated with a degree in Aircraft Engineering. In 1956, he married Sally. She predeceased him in May of 1992. They were blessed with one surviving daughter, Patrice. He was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration for thirty eight years, retiring in 1998. Due to his expertise, Pat continued on as a consultant to the FAA for a number of years past his retirement. In addition to his professional career, Pat, along with “Tony” and Nancy were part owners of the renowned “Federico’s Restaurant, established by their father in 1950. Pat is survived by his loving wife of six years, Joan (DiFalco) of Yonkers. They were married at St. Bartholomew’s Church on October 22, 2005. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings Mary, Antonio, and Nancy along with numerous nieces and nephews. His hobbies included golf, cooking and classical Italian music. Pat’s passing will leave a hole in the fabric of our family. His memory will live on in all the lives that he has touched. He will be deeply missed. Visitation will be at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Avenue, Yonkers, N.Y. on Wednesday, November 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Church on Thursday, December 1st . Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Secor Road, Hartsdale, N.Y.
