Patricia Maskara

Patricia Maskara (nee Ball) of Yonkers died on Sunday July 12, 2015 at age 75.She was born on March 19, 1940 to Martin L. and Arlene G. Ball in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Sacred Heart HS. Mrs. Maskara worked as a bookkeeper for a private accounting firm in Westchester for over 40 years. On April 8, 1961 she married George Maskara in Sacred Heart Church; he died in 2008. Pat was a parishioner of Sacred Heart, a former parish trustee and was a volunteer and supporter of the North Yonkers Boys & Girls Club. She enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City with George and was a sports enthusiast; especially the Yankees. She is survived by her 4 children; Bob (Meg) Maskara of Milford, Penn; Daniel (Meredith) Maskara of Sunnyside, Queens, Mark (Lisa) Maskara of Yonkers and Nancy (Doug) Horsting of Yonkers. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren; Robbie, Kristan, Markie, Dorothy, Vivien, Veronica, Natalie and Marlene; her sister Joanne Moynihan and her 2 brothers Martin (Susan) Ball and William Ball. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday July 15th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations may be made in Pat’s name to the Yonkers Animal Shelter 1000 Ridge Hill Blvd. Yonkers, NY 10710.
