
Patrick Reynolds, 72, of Yonkers, passed away on Sunday at the VA Medical Center in the Bronx. Born on March 9th, 1944, Patrick was the second youngest of eleven siblings born to James and Margaret (Maguire) Reynolds in Cloone, County Leitrim, Ireland. He married Bridget Monahan on September 7, 1968 in Our Lady of Angels Church, Bronx, NY. He owned and operated Reynolds Tavern in Yonkers with Bridget until their retirement in 2011. A US Army Veteran, he served during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1967. Patrick is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bridget; their only child Patrick and his wife Mary; siblings Jim, Nellie, Claire, and Kevin; Brother-in-laws, Sister-in-laws; his three grandchildren Matthew, James, and Katherine; and many nieces and nephews both in the United States and Ireland. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-9pm. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated in Christ the King Church on Friday October 7th at 10am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 220 E. 42nd St., New York, N.Y. 10017.
