

He was born on January 16, 1937 to Paul E. and Mary Crew Rogan in Yonkers where he was raised and educated graduating from Roosevelt High School. Mr. Rogan was a grocery clerk at the Daitch Shopwell Supermarket in Eastchester for forty four years until his retirement in 1999. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959 and was stationed in Rome, N.Y. Mr. Rogan was an avid fan of the Mets, Nets and Knicks. In fact, he was a Knick season ticket holder for twenty years. He is survived by two brothers, Robert Rogan and his wife Joan of Mountainville, N.Y. and James Rogan and his wife, Debbie of Barnegat, N.J. and one sister, Mary Jane Thompson of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by his cousin and best friend, Steve Tuers and his wife Alice and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday May 29th from 11am to 1pm. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
