

She was born on August 25, 1927 to Joseph and Anna Paterson Devito in Yonkers where she was raised and educated graduating from Commerce High School in 1945. Mrs. Polsen retired from Ciba-Geigy Corporation after 38 years. She married Joseph Fekety in 1947, who passed away in 1978. She then married her second husband William Polsen (Yonkers Police Chief) in 1988, who passed away in 2001. She was also predeceased by her son, Kevin Fekety who passed away in 2012. Throughout her life, Pearl enjoyed traveling and was an avid participant in ballroom dancing. She was also an active member of the Elks. Pearl was also patriotic, having been recognized by the Statue of Liberty Ellis Island Centennial Commission for her personal contributions to memorialize her family's coming to this country. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Kunze (predeceased husband Robert M. Kunze Sr.), a grandson, Robert M. Kunze Jr and his wife Lyne, a granddaughter, Dawn Marie Doland and her husband Stephen, a grandson, Daniel J. Kunze and his wife Brooke, five great grandchildren, Aaron Cicilioni and husband, Anthony, Aime Patane and husband Adam, C.J. Kunze and wife, Kim, Katy Kunze, Joseph Kunze and four great great grandchildren, Bruce Patane, Roman Innabi, Lorenzo Innabi and Inessa Kunze.
