Regina J. Ormond of Yonkers died on Monday August 3, 2015 at age 87. She was born on December 9, 1927 to Thomas and Katherine (Ingram) Ormond in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Gorton HS. Ms. Ormond worked as a keypunch operator for the City of Yonkers for over 25 years; retiring in 1980. Regina is survived by her sister Eileen Murphy and predeceased by 5 sisters; Mary Palmerton, Dorothy Goff, Edna DiFiore, Agnes Sabol, Florence Werner and her brother Thomas Ormond. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Saturday August 8th from 11am – 12 noon. Services will be held at 12 noon. Donations may be made to Rosary hill Home or Calvary Hospice Center.
