I miss you so much. Me and Arron are doing well. We miss your voice, jokes, and laughter. Christmas is right around the corner and it’s our first time without you 😞 

Please continue to watch over us, especially our son Arron who is doing great things. He wants to make you very proud, which I know you are. Continue to dance in Heaven, like you said you’ll do when you were still here on Earth. We love so much ❤️❤️❤️

Brothers having a Serious Talk.. May 18th 2024

Rick was an amazing person: a great father and uncle who also lived a remarkable life. I was blessed to have had him as an uncle growing up. A memory I still have to this day that brings a smile to my face: Going to the grocery store with Rick pushing me in the shopping cart; he would make monkey faces at me that would make me laugh hysterically. Rick was fun, kind, and loving. He was one of the best parts of my childhood growing up. He will be missed. May he rest in peace. My love, thoughts, and prayers are with you all.

My deepest condolences and prayers to Rick’s sons, Rico, and Aaron, to Val,  Etaun, and all who knew and loved Rick.
Rick was an  awesome cousin to me, he was an awesome human being who will be truly missed!

Worked with Richard at the first precinct. We did midnights together and on occasions we partnered up doing a sector. I am truly saddened to hear he passed away. May he rest in peace and may his family find solace remembering what an amazing gentleman he was.

I knew Rich Ford since 1987. We worked at the U.S Mission to the United Nations as armed contract Security Officers. Rich was mainly at the ambassadors suite in the Waldorf Astoria Penthouses. He was an exemplary protection professional who I respected as a coworker and friend.
I regret that Rich and I lost touch when we changed jobs, but  through social media we rekindled our friendship a few years back. He was still the same calm, steady, gentle but firm force that I remembered and I didn't realize till then how much I missed him.
I'm thankful we got reacquainted before illness took him home again. My condolences to his family and all of us for the loss of such a man as Eugene Richard Ford.

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences for the loss of Richard Ford, a true brother in arms and a cherished friend. Richard was not just a comrade with whom I shared military duty; he was a vital part of my life—a brother bound by trust, love, and shared experiences that transcended the ordinary.

From the very beginning of our journey together, Richard embodied loyalty, strength, and compassion. We navigated the challenges of military life side by side, forging a bond that was as strong as steel. Beyond the battlefield, our friendship flourished through countless family exchanges, laughter, and moments that will forever be etched in my heart.

Richard’s departure into eternity leaves a profound void in my life and the lives of all who knew him. His spirit, courage, and unwavering support will be sorely missed. I find comfort in knowing that we walked this journey together, sharing both trials and triumphs, and that our memories will remain a testament to his incredible spirit.

As we honor Richard's legacy, let us cherish the love and friendship we shared, holding onto the lessons he imparted and the joy he brought into our lives. I will miss you dearly, my brother. Until we meet again, may your soul find peace.

Devil Dog, my heart is heavy. Still in disbelief that you’re gone. But relieved that you’re no longer in pain. GOD knows what’s best. I love and miss you so much.
