Richard L. Hayes

Richard L. Hayes of Yonkers died on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at age 75. Born on January 11, 1940 to Thomas and Mildred (Bell) Hayes in Chase City Virginia, where he was raised and attended local School. Mr. Hayes worked as a Security Guard for Summit Security in Hartsdale. He is survived by his wife Ethel (Tuthill) Hayes and his six children; Gregory, Jeffery, Anthony, Leewan, Sylvia and Gwendolyn. He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his brothers Harry and Sylvester and his sisters; Annie, Barbara, Renell and Dean. He was predeceased by Geraldine, Janie and Presley. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday, July 10th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Committal service at Ferncliff Chapel.
