Rose Munchak

Rose Munchak (nee Laino) of West Long Branch, New Jersey formerly of Yonkers died on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at age 93. Born on August 26, 1920 to Daniel and Julia (Gronski) Laino in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Commerce High School. In Jersey, she was a Parishioner of St. Jerome’s Church and was the former president of their social club. Mrs. Munchak is survived by her brother Richard (Joan) Laino of Yonkers and several nieces and nephews: Rosemary (Robert) Nehrebecki; Fred (Irene) Laino, Danielle (Gary) Walsh; Daniel (Etta) Laino; Roberta Fiala; Richard (Lisa) Laino; David (MaryEllen) Laino; Linda (Anthony) Fiorilli and numerous great- nieces/nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers; Daniel and Fred. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church on Saturday, February 15th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
