Rosemary Sciortino

She was born on December 31, 1954 to Thomas and Rose Falvey Scollan in Dublin, Ireland. She was raised and educated in Yonkers, graduating from St. Peter’s Grade School and Sacred Heart High School. Rosemary loved animals, especially cats and she enjoyed watching the Nick Cannon Show and her cooking shows. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Jessica O’Neill and her husband, Kevin of Dobbs Ferry and Stephanie Fedele and her husband, Ron of Mohegan Lake, two brothers, Michael Scollan of Mahopac and Frank Scollan and his wife, Marjie of Hillsdale, NY, a sister Kathy Scollan of Hastings on Hudson, and four grandchildren, Tyler, Sean, Domenick and Vincenzo. She is also survived by her longtime caregiver and dear friend, Florence Officer Brown. She was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas, David and Christopher Scollan, a sister, Nora Scollan and her longtime companion, Tom Myers. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Saturday April 9th from 3-7pm with a funeral service at 5:30pm. Final disposition is private. Donations in her memory may be made to the ASPCA and the family is asking for a consideration be made for organ donation that could possibly save a life.
