Ruth I. Weidner (nee Holder) of Yonkers died on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at age 88. Born on April 10, 1927 to Clarence and Bertha (Smith) Holder in Yonkers where he was raised and educated from Walt Whitman High School. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for American Brands in New York City; retiring in 1990. On May 1, 1954 she married Harold Weidner, he survives. She is also survived by her son Peter (Lisa) Weidner and her daughter Carol (Alan) Webster and her two grandsons Sean and Scott. She was predeceased by her brother Clarence Holder. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Nepperhan Avenue on Saturday, May 30th at 9:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations may be made to Rosary Hill Home, Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, N.Y.
