Sandra Muzzio

Sandy was born on March 26th, 1951 in Bronx, NY to Max and Sylvia Mittelman Roskosh. She married her loving husband Stephen (Steve) Muzzio on October 28, 1972 at Christ the King Church in Yonkers. Sandy retired as a supervisor from Blue Cross Blue Shield thirty years ago. Sandy was an avid traveler and had visited over twenty countries (mostly while cruising with her daughter and family). Sandy was also an amazing cook and terrific storyteller. Fiercely loyal and supportive of friends, Sandy loved catching up over the phone or while out shopping, and also especially knew how to throw an amazing party. Sandy was handy around the house, and found joy and great pride in organization and beautifying her house with crafts. Sandy is predeceased by her loving husband Steve who passed away in October 2005. Sandy is survived by her cherished daughter Michelle of Attleboro (future son-in-law Brian Bartling) and beloved sister Helene Delle Chiaie of Allamuchy, NJ (husband Phil Delle Chiaie). Sandy is also survived by dear friends in Yonkers, Scarsdale, and around the world as far as Amsterdam, London, and China. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 2-6 pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday March 18th at 12pm with interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
