Tara’s smile was so bright that I felt she lit the area she was in. I met Tara 19 years ago through the horrific event of 9-11. From that first moment, I felt her warmth. She was always chipper and sweet and it made me feel good to be around her. I didn’t even realize her age until now - again, her bright and almost innocent smile gave me the impression that she was younger. You were a loving person, friend, daughter, sister and mother and I’ll always remember you that way. RIP 🙏 

I just learned about the passing of Tara.  While I am in shock, I immediately tapped into the fond memories of our professional relationship.  She helped R.A.I.N. a great deal through her office.  I will miss you Tara, may God receive you with open arms and grace.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bendick, John, and the entire Ocskasy  & Bendick familes, 

We were so sad to hear of Tara's passing.  As so many of us saw first hand, Tara was the most fiercly loyal and generous of mother's.  John once came to our house for a sleepover, Tara knew it would be short lived , but she let him try.    She was on our porch picking him up before 9:00 p.m.  She gave him a hug and told him it was ok to be afraid even if you were only three houses away from home.  Their bond was undeniable.  Every time we see John we will remeber Tara and the goodness that she brought into this world.

Thank you Tara for your generousity with our children it was a previledge to parent along side of you!  We will miss beeping good morning to you on our way to work.

May she rest in peace.

I've known Tara my entire life in one way or another. She supported me just simply by reaching out when I had cancer in 2016. I will never forget that. she was the kindest person. I just want to send my love and condolences to her friends and close family but especially her son John, her parents and sisters. Tara will be missed, rest in peace sweet friend.
