

Willis was born on April 13, 1942 in Yonkers, NY to John Stovall, Sr. and Gertrude Brown Stovall. Willis was educated in the Yonkers Public School System. At an early age, Willis started working construction with his father and worked for several construction companies over the years. He was a proud member of the Laborers International Union of North America. He has been a Gold Card member since 1969. Willis met and married the love of his life Dorothy Mae Brown at Messiah Baptist Church in 1969, they were married for fifty one (51) years. Together they raised one daughter Willetta Stovall. He was predeceased by his parents and one son. Willis leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Dorothy Stovall, his daughter Willetta Stovall, two sisters Minnie Ford and Betty Tilson, two brothers John Stovall, Jr. and Charlie Stovall, three sisters-in-law, Sally Brown, Fannie Brown and Laura Tonkin, two brothers-in-law, Willie Brown, Loyid Brown along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visiting will be on Friday September 3rd from 10am - 11am at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11am. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery Hastings-on-Hudson.
