She was born April 4, 1943, in Mora, NM in a makeshift home in the back of her father’s first drugstore. She grew up in Belen, NM. She and her husband married in 1963 in Albuquerque, NM and moved to California in 1965. They lived in Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, and Fallbrook before moving to Yorba Linda in 2010 where they became a part of the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Community. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was a loving friend to anyone that met her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nat and Lily Silva and her sister, Yvonne.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Baca (Yorba Linda, CA), her daughters Leslie Acevedo (Yorba Linda, CA) and husband Michael Acevedo, Tracy Warman (Anaheim Hills, CA) and husband Brian Warman, Pamela Bennett (Orange, CA) and husband Thad Bennett, her siblings, Frieda Worrell (Albuquerque, NM) and husband Jerry Worrell, Delbert Silva (Albuquerque, NM) and wife Cathy; grandchildren Austin Acevedo (Mission Viejo, CA) and wife Yasmin, Dylan Acevedo (Anaheim, CA) and fiancé Taryn Tanaka, Tyler Warman (Indianapolis, IN) and wife Kimberly, Mason Acevedo (New York City, NY), Jacob Bennett (Peoria, AZ), Megan Pettke (Fishers, IN) and husband Shane, Sydney Bennett (Sydney, Australia), Jessica Warman (Charlotte, NC) and Rachel Bennett (San Diego, CA), and one great-grandson, Leo Acevedo.
Services will be held Friday February 10, 2023, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Yorba Linda, CA. Rosary will be at 10:00 am and mass will be at 10:30 am.
