He retired in June, 2021, after a 42-year career in commercial and residential construction. Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents, Shirley and Robert Billa, and survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Kathy; was the loving stepfather of Jill (Andrew) Knowles, John ( Kirsa) Dosemagen; much loved Grandpa Bob of Aidan, Maia and Declan Knowles and Leah, John and Kayla Dosemagen; brother of Michael (Ewa) Billa, Richard (Barbara) Billa, and Susanne (Donald) Hitzel. brother-in-law of Audrey (Michael) Janicki, Susan (Fred) Bau, Joel (Yau-Ling) Janicki, and James (Mena) Janicki.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 5, 2022 at 1pm at the McMurrough Funeral Chapel in Libertyville, IL.
