Tom Hartley

He is survived by his daughters, Terry Blake (Cliff), Tracy Brown (Tim), Tammy Canzone (Tony), and Tricia Yocum (Buck), and sons Tom Hartley (Josephine), and Tim Hartley (Crystal). He was preceded in death by his son Troy Hartley (Jennifer). He had 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, two sisters Tootsie who is 100, and Daisy who is 98, and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

When he was young, his family moved to Orange County where he attended elementary school and Anaheim High School. He served in the Army for eight years during the Korean War and was a cook. After the military, he became a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and shortly after met his wife Nancy and had seven children. They divorced soon after the last child was born and he became a single parent with the help of his family and close friends. He left the Postal Service and became a landscape gardener (Just like his father) for the rest of his life. He remained in his home where he raised his children until the time of his death.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
