York - Angela C. Santiago, 67, entered into rest on Monday May 14, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Abel Santiago for 49 years.
She was born January 21, 1951 in Guira, Venezuela. The daughter of the late Pedro H. Acosta and Luisa Acosta Castillo.
She worked for many years for the City of York in the Health Department. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.
A viewing will be 11 a.m.-12 noon Thursday at St. Mary's Church, 309 S. George St. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Noon with the Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, V.F. officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
Including her husband Abel, Angela is also survived by two children, Luisa Santiago of York and Carlos Santiago of York; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Luisa Valentine and Nilda Garces both of NY; a son, Abel Santiago, Jr. preceded her in death.
