Gladys M Day

York - Gladys Marie Day, 86, passed away at home on Friday, October 26, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Paul S. "Buzz" Day. Born in North Hopewell Township, Pa. on January 16, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Krigger and Mary E. Redding.

Gladys leaves to cherish her memory six children, Samuel Day of Delaware, Paula Day of Loganville, Edwin Day, David Day and wife Diana Day, and Matthew Day all of York; a step daughter, Sharon Green and husband Myron Green of Thomasville; a brother, Harold Redding and wife Donna Redding of Spring Grove;12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sherry Day and Gloria Kreeger-Klinedinst; a son, Jacob Mummert; and 2 brothers, Robert Redding and William E. "Junie" Redding, Jr.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 10am-12 noon at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market Street York, Pa 17403. The service will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Steven Smuck officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
