

York - Reggie B. Geiger, Sr., 80, of York died November 17, 2018 at Pleasant Acres. He battled with Parkinson's disease for 18 years. He was the husband of the late Dorothy G. (Billet) Geiger who died June 12, 2017.
Born July 11, 1938 in Dover, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Lola M. (Schaffner) Geiger.
Reggie was an employee for over 40 years for Yellow Freight. He received an award for driving 3 million miles without an accident. He also worked at FedEx for 3 years.
Reggie was a member of Eastside Assembly of God. He enjoyed being outdoors doing gardening and yard work; shooting pool; playing his jukebox; and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to go to concerts at Springettsbury Twp. Park. He also collected antiques.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Julie K. Millar of Yorkanna and Kelly C. Fissel of York; a son, Reggie B. Geiger, Jr. of York; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Horner of Dover; and a brother, Dennis L. Geiger of Dover.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market Street, York. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Friday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
