Cheryl graduated high school from South High School in Minneapolis in 1965, and married the love of her life, Duane in 1966. They were married for 56 years!!
Cheryl lived in various cities in Minnesota until she was finally able to escape the cold winters and moved to Sun City, Arizona in 2000. She was fond of many activities and joined many social clubs. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, painting ceramics and many other arts and crafts. She loved her friends and family but her greatest joy of all was being a grandmother!!
Cheryl is survived by her husband Duane, sons Mark (Lauri) and Troy, grandchildren Nicolas and Noah (Kurth) and Natalie (Grimme), and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Margaret Ann and Evelyn as well as her brothers Orrin and Steve.
Services will be held on March 6, 2023, 10:00 am at Willowbrook United Methodist church in Sun City, Arizona and a place in Minnesota TBD in April 2023.
