She was born in Hickory, Oklahoma, on January 29, 1933. Cora graduated and received a Master's degree from Glendale Community College and Arizona State University. She was married to Bill Cresswell on September 5, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Cora had a career in teaching for English and Literature in High School and College. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Glendale, and her passions revolved around hiking, reading, writing, and traveling.
She was survived by her children, Harold (Tracey), Keith, Charlie (Sheryl), Cheri (Audie), John (Maile). Cora was also survived by the following host of loving grandchildren; Billy (Rachel), DJ (Jen), Kordel, Benjamin(Jessica), Leah (Matt), Courtland (Kari), Brandt (Jen), Jenna (Tanner), Stephen (Becky), Michael, Alexis (Luis), Sophia, Cassie (Treil), along with fifteen great grandchildren. Lastly, and certainly not least, Cora was survived by her siblings, Pete Robertson and Billie Fe Goekler (Bob), as well.
Gone but never forgotten, Cora lives on through the many lives she has touched.
