

David B. Mendelsohn passed away peacefully Sunday May 3 due to complications from surgery surrounded by his extended family. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was an amazing writer with a wicked sense of humor and intuitive mind. He was a kind caring person who even in his final hours was concerned about the welfare of his family and the nurses taking care of him. He was an avid supporter of charitable causes. He is survived by his mother Elayne B. Mendelsohn, sister Robin A. Inskeep, brother in-law Richard S. Inskeep, and cat Stinky of Litchfield Park AZ; his father Robert I. Mendelsohn, stepmother Charlene Mendelsohn, brother Jacob Mendelsohn, and sister in-law Natasha Mendelsohn of Indianapolis IN; his brother Jonathan E. Mendelsohn, sister in-law Rochelle L. Mendelsohn, niece Alyssa R. Mendelsohn, and nephew Aaron S. Mendelsohn of Baltimore MD; his brother Ethan Mendelsohn, cousins Sheila, David, and Stephanie Lovinger of Phoenix AZ; his cousins Allen, Phyllis (favorite), and Daniel Rothstein of Cleveland OH. A party in his honor was held Tuesday May 5 where family and friends ate his favorite food (ribs) and toasted his life with his favorite drink (diet coke).
