George Louis Browning passed away on Feb 16, 2013. He was born Feb 26, 1927 in Highland Park MI to Verna (Mehok) & George Browning, and grew up in Detroit, MI. He married Pauline Slater Oct 18 1947, in Detroit, after meeting at Michigan Bell where they both worked. They settled in Allen Park, MI where they raised 4 their children. George was a Vet of WWII and Korean Wars. They loved to travel, loved their RV, bridge and golf families. George leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, Pauline (Slater) Browning, his daughters Barbara (Dennis Bechard) & Beth (James Turza), sons Robert (Marcia Sue Moore) & Richard (Kelly Mehok), as well as 11 grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Jeremy, Matthew, Jennifer, Jessica, Rebecca, Teresa, Richard, Thomas, Madeline. He also had 16 great grandchildren. A Catholic Mass will be held Tuesday, February 26th at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 6180 W. Utopia Rd., Glendale.
