

Goldie Donald Hack was born on April 5, 1944. He grew up in Central City, Nebraska. He was the seventh son to Bernard and Ruth Hack. He attended Central City High School where he graduated in 1963. Goldie enjoyed competitive sports, including baseball, basketball and football during his high school years. After graduation he enlisted in the US Navy and was stationed in San Francisco on the USS Kennebec. While stationed in San Francisco, he met his future wife Sherry Loewen and married her in 1965. When he completed his service in the US Navy he and his wife lived in the San Francisco area. Goldie started his career in retail sales as a shoe store manager, he and his wife relocated throughout the Bay Area opening new shoe stores. During this time their daughter Paris was born. Goldie and Sherry moved to San Rafael, California, where he began his retail grocery career. He spent the next 30 years working and managing for various grocery stores in several departments and retiring with Albertson’s in 1999. Golfing was the love of his life and he continued to enjoy it in his retirement when he and Sherry relocated to Arizona to enjoy the wonderful warm weather! They were married 60 years. He will be missed by all who knew him. Goldie leaves to his cherish memory, his daughter, Paris; son-in-law, Steve; grandson, Chase; granddaughter, Savanah; sister, Sadie; sister, Jeanne; sister, Helen and many dear friends and neighbors.
A Funeral Service will be held at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 11211 Michigan Ave, Youngtown, AZ 85363, US, on April 21, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024, US, on April 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
