Jacqueline “Jeanie” Medlin, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on February 17, 1951, Jeanie made her home in Buckeye, Arizona, where she built a life centered around family, friendship, and finding joy in everyday moments.
Jeanie spent many years working as a waitress, where her warm smile and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on countless people. She had a free spirit and a true “go with the flow” personality that made everyone feel accepted and welcome. She never judged others and had a remarkable ability to make people feel like they belonged.
She found happiness in simple pleasures. Whether she was trying her luck at the casino, enjoying a game of bingo, or spending treasured time with her family (likely playing cards), Jeanie embraced every moment. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved.
Jeanie is survived by her brother, David Harris; her four children, Tracey Bigelow, Laurie Jurewicz, David Medlin, and Howard Medlin; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable pride and happiness to her life; and her cherished best friend, Cora Maron, who remained faithfully by her side until the very end.
Though her family mourns her passing, they also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the memories she leaves behind. Jeanie’s kindness, accepting nature, and loving heart will continue to live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
