James Michael Lawson

James Michael “Mike” Lawson passed away peacefully in his hometown of Phoenix, AZ on January 12, 2015. He was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix on March 5, 1959 to Vivion (Peck) and Henry Lawson and attended Carl Hayden High School. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a true believer of William Branham’s message. Mike loved to spend time with his wife and best friend of 36 years and his two children. He was a family man, an amazing loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a member of the Maricopa Valley Tabernacle for over 20 years. He raised Pitt Bulls for over 30 years and had recently started raising racing Pigeons. Mike is survived by his adored wife of 36 joyfilled years, Linda; his treasured children Jacob (wife Shelley Lawson) and Stephanie Lawson; precious grandchildren Liam Gabriel, Lucas and Zachary; devoted sisters & brothers in law Brenda & Mike Martin and Deborah & Joe Gonzales and 15 nieces and nephews, who Mike loved dearly. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Frank and Kenneth Lawson. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 10:00 am at West Resthaven Memorial Park and Mortuary, 6450 W Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ.
